Made from low-yield vineyards in Manduria, this wine is crafted using partially raisined grapes left to dry naturally on the vine before harvest, concentrating flavours and aromas through a 20â30% loss of water. Compared to the traditional version of Stilio, the alcohol content of Stilio â Limited Edition is slightly higher at 15%, thanks to a longer maceration with delestage and subsequent one-year maturation and aging in oak barrel. The bottles are kept for another 8 years for refinement before release. The organoleptic characteristics become more pronounced and defined, delivering an experience that is deeper, a much more compelling Primitivo di Manduria. Austere bouquet of red fruit in jam, dehydrated plum, dried figs with almonds. Background of coffee powder and cocoa beans. Full-bodied dense and persistent with a fruity finish
