LM 98 pts : Made from low-yield vineyards in Manduria, this wine is crafted using partially raisined grapes left to dry naturally on the vine before harvest, concentrating flavours and aromas through a 20â30% loss of water. Partial of wine aged in new, first & second passage oak barrels for 6 months and a further refinement in bottle for 2 â 3 months before release. Deep red in color with purple highlights, it offers an austere bouquet of red fruit jam, morello cherry and dried plum, accompanied by elegant tertiary notes of vanilla and cloves. On the palate it is velvety, full and harmonious, with a structure that enhances its persistence and softness.
