Magna Terra Amarone is a blend of Valpolicella's traditional grapes that are picked only after a careful selection of the ripest bunches on the vines. The grapes are then placed in boxes to undergo the appassimento process, which means air drying the grapes. This process can take up to 4 months. After skin contact for 15 days, the wine is fermented in oak barrels and then matures for 24 months in large oak barrels. Finally, the wine rests in the bottle for a month or so before it is released.
