100% Sangiovese. Aging on the fine lees in the bottle for 15 months and then elevation in glass for a month after disgorgement. A shade of a bright but pale pick rosé goes to brighten the eyes. The tiny, fine and calibrated bubbles dance happily under a white frothy coat. The passionate bouquet that expresses a supportive and expansive whirlwind of excellent aromas that recall in succession delicious aromas of yellow peach, apricot, orange, undergrowth, wisteria, lily of the valley, garden herbs and hint of spicy credentials is textbook. The olfactory experience also includes voluptuous hint of bread crust, dry pastries, wildflower honey and pink sugared almonds. On the palate, it’s an effervescent and elegant sip, fresh and soft, fascinating and creamy and then supported by an excellently evolved carbonic acid. Epicurean ending.
