100% Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. Straw yellow. Ripe yellow fruit with notes of citrus and dried fruit that blend with elegant, floral and spicy nuances. Fresh, fruity with a long persistence and an almond finish. As in the ancient rural tradition this Trebbiano begins the fermentation spontaneously together with the skins. After maceration, the juice undergoes slow fermented in cement vats where it continues its aging for about 18 months. Malolactic Fermentation: no. Refinement in cement tanks with yeast fermentation for about 20 months. The wine is bottled without filtration and without any stabilizing treatment. 13% Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the winery, this Trebbiano is the result of experimentation: the reintroduction of natural fermentation typical of the 1960s. The resulting wine was awarded the Tre Bicchieri prize and has established itself on the Cantina Tollo wine list.
